Zev Eleff is a historian who specializes in American Jewish history. He is President at Gratz College, the oldest independent and pluralistic college dedicated to Jewish studies in North America. As the Secretary at The Institute for Jewish Research and Publications, Eleff leverages his extensive experience in book publishing and nonprofit leadership to provide invaluable support. Prior to his esteemed role at Gratz College, Eleff held positions such as Chief Academic Officer of Hebrew Theological College and Vice Provost of Touro College Illinois. Eleff’s remarkable scholarly contributions include the authorship and editing of over a dozen books, as well as the publication of more than 70 scholarly articles, solidifying his status as a prolific and respected voice in the field of American Jewish history.
